Advertising Overview
eBicycles provides useful information and online tools designed to promote and encourage the use of bicycles. Whenever possible, we direct consumers to their local bike shops for making purchases and seeking professional advice on their biking needs. Any local bike shop or bicycle manufacturer can advertise on eBicycles using a free or paid directory listing.
Directory Listings
A directory listing on eBicycles makes it easy for consumers to find your store, learn about your business, see what bikes you carry and what services you offer. They can read customer reviews about your store and submit their own review. There are two types of listings available - free and paid.
Free Listing
Free listings, known as Premium listings, include business name, contact information, web address, e-mail and a short description of your business. These are FREE. If your business is already listed in our directory, you simply need to claim it. If not, just add it. It's free advertising!
Paid Listing
Paid listings, known as Showcase listings, provide a separate dedicated page that acts as a mini-website, with your logo, shop photos, a YouTube video and a contact form. There are also special fields for bike shops and manufacturers to enter more detail about your products and services. Paid listings show up first when consumers search for bike shops in their area.

Local, rider-targeted Ads
We're currently testing locally-targeted bike shop ads in certain cities (and on certain areas of our site), and will eventually include this service with every paid listing. These ads only show up for visitors in your city or region, meaning the ads show up for folks who would be likely to visit your shop.

Traffic Reports
Traffic statistics are available for both free and paid listings. Once you've claimed or created your listing, you can access the report. Here is a screenshot:

Here's what each item means:
- Summary - # of times your listing showed up in search results
- Detail - # of times your detailed profile page was viewed (Showcase listings only)
- Click Thru - # of times people visited your website (Premium and Showcase only)
- E-mail - # of times someone viewed your e-mail address (Premium and Showcase only)
- Phone - # of times someone viewed your phone number
- Fax - # of times someone viewed your fax number
